Hi there! I’m Amerlyn…

… and I’m a sound designer for games and animation! I absolutely love telling stories and bringing worlds to life through interesting, immersive sonic landscapes, and always aim to do so through collaboration and kindness. One of my favorite parts of my work is getting to work alongside fantastic teams to build incredible experiences, navigate challenging problems, and grow creatively and technically — it’s so magical to see what we can make when we combine all our powers together!

I’m currently based in Northern California, in the Bay Area! I previously worked at Brass Lion Entertainment as a Senior Sound Designer on an unannounced AAA title, where I worked with the rest of the audio team to experiment with and piece together the sonic identity of a new IP. Prior to that, I worked at Schell Games as an Advanced Audio Artist where I led the charge on audio as the Audio Lead on Among Us VR and crafting soundscapes across several other VR and MR titles, as well as led professional development efforts for the audio team. These days, I’m also moonlighting as a sound designer in indie animation, including the many Genshin Impact anime shorts from KIERU Animation, and searching for my next adventure in game audio.

In addition to sound design, I love milk tea, plants, cute keyboards, and traveling around the world. When I’m not working, you can probably find me exploring Hyrule or Teyvat, knitting a pair of cozy socks, or creating cute spreadsheets.
